The Decatur Youth World Percussion Ensemble was formed in partnership with Decatur Boys and Girls Club and extended into Decatur City Schools at Woodmeade Elementary. Students in this group get experience with world percussion instruments and performance of the characteristic rhythm patterns found in world music.
