The Decatur Youth Symphony, under the leadership of Jacob Frank, is our central performing group. All the other groups are either in preparation for, or are an out growth of, this group. Players are all adept at reading music, and we have a full compliment of strings, winds, brass, and percussion. Our annual performances include a Christmas concert, a spring YEA Decatur concert, an outdoor performance at Concerts By the River, and appearances at the Space and Rocket Center as well as other venues.
